Richard Leslie Wertheim, 65 passed July 18,2018 in his home in Buckhead, GA. He was born in Needham MA, October 16, 1952 to the late Clarke Harris Wertheim and the late Patricia Anne Crossman Wertheim. Preceded by his brother the late Paul Harris Wertheim. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Theresa Quern, his daughter Melissa and husband Tom O’Brien, his daughter Denise Wertheim and partner Danielle Belisle, and daughter Lisa Wertheim and fiancé Matthew Stoner. He also leaves behind his 2 grandchildren, Kiley and Connor O’Brien.

He worked as a machinist until retirement. He loved hunting and fishing and was a competitive professional fisherman for a time. He was a big-hearted man who brought love and laughter to those who were blessed to have known him. He was loved by all and will be forever missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
