During a short stint as a Miss America usher, I was haunted by the plaintive cries of the contestants for world peace. From that time forward, I’ve been on a Sisyphean quest to fulfill their dream.

Two gentlemen in particular, Chang and Marcos Del Rio, have had a profound influence on my world views. These great men have been nominated for both the Nobel Peace Prize and the NRA's Charleton Heston Humanitarian Award.
