Bradley Shaw

Bradley Shaw

Bradley A. Shaw, 66, of Norfolk, passed peacefully on November 29, 2021 while surrounded by family at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He was the beloved husband of Donna E. (Walsh) Shaw.

Born in Needham on April 3, 1955, he was a son of the late Albert and Rita (Sedlin) Shaw. Brad was a graduate of Needham High School, class of 1973 and later earned a business degree from Dean College. He worked for many years as a sales representative, with a focus on the industrial electronics industry. But he will be remembered most as a loving husband and father. An avid Patriots fan, he never missed a Friday evening watching “All Access” or game day. Brad loved all music but was especially a fan of classic rock, his first date with Donna was the legendary Rolling Stones concert at the Boston Garden in 1975. His most treasured joy in life was spending time with his family and friends. His backyard was his favorite place to be. He took pleasure in relaxing with a Diet Coke while watching his grandchildren and neighborhood friends enjoy the pool. Brad was a craftsman through and through. There was no project too big or small that he did not tackle with the greatest passion. Whatever Donna could dream of, he built, created, painted, and brought to life. Once, building an additional dinner table on Thanksgiving morning to accommodate his ever-growing extended family. Most recently rebuilding the back deck and remodeling the entire backyard to better host summer BBQs. His loving and creative touch can be seen in every corner of every room of the family home. Brad’s family was most important to him.

In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by three children: Laurie and her husband Kristopher McDonald of Norfolk, Steven Shaw of California, and Dana Shaw and his wife Natalie of Florida. He will miss spending weekends with his grandchildren Rory and Collins McDonald.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, December 7th from 4-7 PM in the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Wrentham.
